The brand is the result of a living collaboration. Two Moroccan sisters, Fadwa and Imane Berdad, carry forward ancestral African ritual and the botanical wisdom of their Amazigh lineage. Alongside them, Jas. M. Robinson brings a fresh creative perspective shaped by lived experience as a Foundational Black American, informed by more than three decades as a haircare professional—where craft, observation, and respect for natural texture have guided his work.
Together, we create slowly and deliberately.

Our name carries lineage. Lalla is an honorific of respect. Lekbira, the great elder, was the name given to the sisters’ grandmother—an Amazigh herbalist from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Her devotion to plants, ritual, and community remains the quiet standard behind everything we create.
